We are the Plainedge Hall of Fame a not-for-profit organization who seeks to recognize distinguished alumni, community members, staff, local businesses/business owners, and friends of the Plainedge community who have achieved extraordinary success in their chosen field or have provided exemplary service to the Plainedge Union Free School District and community.
The goal of the Hall of Fame is to promote school and community pride. Hall of Fame members provide an excellent resource for career advisement and networking for current and future students.

The Hall of Fame looks to identify local businesses/business owners who partner and support the school and community. The goal is to promote school and community pride. Hall of Fame members are role models for our students and provide networking opportunities for past, current, and future students; to promote, foster and encourage scholastic achievement, education excellence, citizenship, and intellectual advancement by the formation of a “Hall of Fame”
The Hall of Fame will also raise money towards the goals of the organization including designating funds for student scholarships and for special grants.
Meet The Founders &
Board of Directors
Our team of volunteers is comprised of alumni, Plainedge board of education members, district administrators, and community business owners. This team has worked together to be the founders of the Plainedge Hall of Fame, Inc and are dedicated to the success of this organization.
Induction Eligibility
Distinguished alumni, community members, staff, local businesses/business owners, and friends of the Plainedge community who have achieved extraordinary success in their chosen field or have provided exemplary service to the Plainedge Union Free School District and community may be eligible for induction. All candidates to be considered for induction must have a sponsor and provide three (3) letters of recommendation as part of the application process for consideration.
Any staff member may be considered for induction. Staff members being considered for induction may not be current employees of the Plainedge School District with the exception of retirees who come back on a part time or per diem basis.
